About alHadiths

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Assalamu alaikum. I’m Fauzul Bahari, and alHadiths.com is where I share authentic hadith of the Prophet ﷺ, explained simply. I started it as a sadaqah jariyah for my late mother, and I hope these hadith bring you the same peace they bring me.

At a glance

  • Written by: Fauzul Bahari
  • About me: A Malaysian Muslim, a husband and father of three, and an IT professional by day
  • Why this site: A sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) for my late mother and my family
  • What you’ll find: Sahih and hasan hadith, duas and Quran verses, each linked to its source
  • Scholar: No, I’m not an Islamic scholar. I share what I learn and name my sources so you can check them

Why I started alHadiths

I bear witness that there is no god except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is Allah’s Messenger.

I find that the hadith bring me peace and help me feel closer to our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. alHadiths.com is my way of sharing the hadith I find most moving, in the hope that they do the same for you.

I pray that Allah accepts this effort to share authentic hadith, and makes this blog a lasting good deed. I dedicate its reward to my parents, my wife, my children, my siblings and the rest of my family.

In memory of my mother

This blog is a sadaqah jariyah for my late mother, may Allah have mercy on her, and for my family. I hope that everyone who learns from it shares in the reward, as the Prophet ﷺ taught:

إِذَا مَاتَ الإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ ثَلاَثَةٍ إِلاَّ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ

“When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three: recurring charity, or knowledge by which people benefit, or a pious child who prays for him.”

Sahih Muslim 1631 · Narrated by Abu Hurairah · Translation adapted from Sunnah.com

مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ

“One who guides to something good has a reward similar to that of its doer.”

Sahih Muslim 1893a · Narrated by Abu Mas’ud al-Ansari · Translation from Sunnah.com

If an article here helps you, a short dua for my mother would mean a great deal to me.

How I check every hadith

  • The Arabic is copied, never typed from memory: hadith from Sunnah.com and Quran verses from Quran.com, with a link to the exact source.
  • Every grading names its grader, for example “Sahih (al-Albani)”. Only sahih (authentic) and hasan (good) hadith are used as the main hadith of an article.
  • Where scholars differ on a grading, the article says so openly in a note on its grading, with links.
  • Explanations are quoted from named sources, such as the Encyclopedia of Translated Prophetic Hadiths (HadeethEnc), or clearly marked as my own reflection.
  • No rulings. For questions about your own situation, please ask a qualified local scholar.

Who I learn from

I follow the public teachings of Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin (Dr MAZA), Dr Rozaimi Ramle (Dr RORA) and Ustaz Shihabuddin Ahmad. They have not reviewed this site, and nothing here should be taken as their endorsement. Any mistakes are mine.

What you’ll find here

Spotted a mistake?

If you find an error, please get in touch and correct me. I check every report against the sources.

Last but not least, I hope you find benefit in this blog. If even one person takes up and practices a single hadith from these pages, I would be a very happy man. Please share it with your friends and family if you think it may benefit them.

May Allah forgive us all and guide us to Jannah.
