The Amazing Uppermost Form of Iman

Iman has many branches and the amazing uppermost form of Iman is by saying La ilaha illallah and the humblest is to remove danger from a path.

The Amazing Uppermost Form of Iman

بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Iman is concept of faith in Islam. It has lots of branches and the amazing uppermost form of Iman is the testimony of faith which is by reciting La ilaha illallah which literally conveying that there is no God other than Allah Subhana wa Ta’ala.

Let’s take a look at a an authentic Hadith below where the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) describes the form of Iman.

Hadith Regarding The Uppermost Form of Iman

-حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ “‏ الإِيمَانُ بِضْعٌ وَسَبْعُونَ أَوْ بِضْعٌ وَسِتُّونَ شُعْبَةً فَأَفْضَلُهَا قَوْلُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَدْنَاهَا إِمَاطَةُ الأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ وَالْحَيَاءُ شُعْبَةٌ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ ‏”‏ ‏.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Faith has over seventy branches or over sixty branches, the most excellent of which is the declaration that there is no god but Allah, and the humblest of which is the, removal of what is injurious from the path: and modesty is the branch of faith.

Even the removal of dangerous items from a path as a part of faith. Islam takes into account even the smallest of deeds for the believers as the way of living.

Furthermore, in today’s world modesty is slowing sipping away from us humans but we do have to keep in check and remind others that it is also a make up of what Iman is.

Renew Our Iman by Reciting La Ilaha Illallah

Reciting La ilaha illallah (there is no God except Allah) is a powerful reminder of our faith in Allah. It is a reminder of our purpose in life and it will help us to stay focused on our faith in Him.

Removing Harm From The Road as an Act of Iman.
